SMI needs teams of eight to twelve individuals to help conduct eye clinics on short term mission trips. Even if you don’t have enough participants to sponsor a trip on your own, we can partner you with other groups. There are many opportunities and cost and conditions vary from location to location. Regardless of where you go, sponsoring a trip will allow your team to serve Christ in a meaningful way and see God at work in different parts of the world.
Eye Care Professionals
Short-term mission trips with Sight Ministries offer eye care professionals an opportunity to utilize unique gifts and talents to honor God. To ensure the best possible care, the services of an Ophthalmologist or Optometrist are needed on each mission trip.
Other professionals, such as Ophthalmic Assistants or Technicians, also provide a valuable service by helping eye clinics run more efficiently. As an eye care professional, please consider how God will use you.
